Aloha from Hawaii |
And up from our beds we all sprang.
Loaded the van, to the airport we drove
While plans and dreams in laughter we wove.
Bags were checked and all of us too
As the agents then waved us on through.
Across the terminal to our appointed gate
Where we watched the people during our wait.
Flight to Dallas had no delays
As for Honolulu, well it could be days!
"We must find you another plane
Seems there's a problem we can't maintain.
Go to D Concourse a way over thar"
Wow! Who knew we would travel so far...
Hours gliding through the vast expanse
Like birds on the wind, performing their dance.
Time flew yet slowed all in one
But soon enough we would be havin' fun.
Finally, in paradise did our plane safely land
Delivered here safely by God's own hand!

Okay that's the last chance you'll have to write a poem. You'll be having too much fun! Great photos! (jo)

ReplyDeleteHello Brandts!
ReplyDeleteSo, how does one right poetry that actually rhymes when flying to a tropical paradise? I hope each of you had a great first day in the land of palm trees and pineapples.
Blessings,
Linda
